Overview

PRINCE2 is a structured method providing organisations with a standard approach to the management of projects. The method embodies proven and established best practice in project management. It is widely recognised and understood, and so provides a common language for all participants in the project. PRINCE2 is now the UK’s de facto standard for project management.

This course focuses on teaching the PRINCE2 method and is designed for Project Managers, Team Members, and Project Stakeholders who need to understand the benefits of the PRINCE2 approach. The course prepares delegates for the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Throughout the course you will learn about the key components, processes and techniques of PRINCE2 so that by the end of the course you will be able to:

• Identify the components and processes of PRINCE2, as well as the relations between them.
• Explain key PRINCE2 techniques including Product Based Planning and Quality Review.
• Demonstrate your understanding of the PRINCE2 method when applied to a given management scenario.
• Answer Foundation and Practitioner exam questions effectively to maximise your chances of gaining PRINCE2 qualifications.

Prerequisites

Some experience of Project Management is useful but delegates are not required to have any previous knowledge of the PRINCE2 method
